The Engine Works Glasgow Wedding Video
What a spectacular day this was, as Sophie & Calum celebrated in style at The Engine Works in Glasgow!
From the moment I arrived, I knew this was going to be something special — the kind of day that perfectly captures why I love creating wedding films. Sophie and Calum’s wedding was full of energy, laughter, and joy from start to finish.
Sophie spent a relaxed morning getting ready at home with her bridal party — a calm, easy-going start to the day filled with coffee, chatter, and excitement. Meanwhile, Calum was already at The Engine Works, greeting guests as the anticipation built for Sophie’s arrival.
Their ceremony was everything a wedding ceremony should be: heartfelt, personal, and beautifully relaxed. The industrial backdrop of The Engine Works added such a cool, modern feel to the moment, with light streaming through the huge windows and guests smiling from ear to ear.
Once the “I do’s” were said, it was time for cocktails! Guests spilled out into the venue’s open spaces, sharing stories and laughter as the music picked up and the atmosphere began to buzz.
Then came dinner — or more accurately, the start of the party. Sophie and Calum made their entrance to an electric welcome, and before anyone knew it, the dance floor was already packed thanks to an brilliant set from the incredible wearetartan.
After dinner and speeches, the celebrations continued late into the night. The dance floor was full, the energy was off the charts, and every moment felt spontaneous and joy-filled — the kind of wedding that reminds you what it’s all about.
As a wedding videographer in Glasgow, days like this are a dream to capture. The Engine Works is such a brilliant venue — full of character, light, and atmosphere — and it perfectly suited Sophie and Calum’s fun, vibrant style.
Congratulations again, you two. What a day. ❤️
