Hello, I’m Barry, a documentary wedding videographer based in Scotland.
It was over a decade ago when I was introduced to the wonderful, joyful world of weddings.
Those feelings of capturing some of the most important moments in peoples lives has always stayed with me.
My passion, as a documentary wedding videographer based in Scotland, is in creating wedding films full of joy. My approach focuses on those most precious candid moments on your wedding day, crafting a film around the elements that make your day unique.

Scotland offers an extraordinary variety of wedding venues, each creating its own atmosphere for a wedding day. From castle weddings in Scotland and elegant country house and estate weddings to relaxed barn and farm weddings, dramatic coastal weddings in Scotland, and intimate city weddings in Edinburgh and Glasgow, the setting becomes an important part of the story of the day.
A Documentary Style of Wedding Videography
My role throughout the wedding day is simply to observe and capture what naturally happens.
Rather than directing the day, I focus on the small moments that make a wedding meaningful — the quiet anticipation before the ceremony, the reactions during the speeches, and the atmosphere on the dance floor later in the evening.
This approach allows the wedding film to feel natural, relaxed, and true to the experience of the day.

Your wedding is a celebration full of joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments — from the build-up in the morning, to the rush of excitement as you walk back up the aisle, to the pure energy of the evening. My role is to capture not just how it looked, but how it felt.
The collection includes:
Teaser Film (60 seconds): Delivered within days of your wedding — a short, joyful glimpse of what’s to come. Perfect for sharing with family and friends while the celebrations are still fresh.
Highlights Film (3–5 minutes): A carefully woven story that brings together the joyful moments, laughter, tears, and atmosphere of your day.
Extended Highlights Film (15–20 minutes): A richer, more cinematic retelling of your celebration — from the emotion of your vows to the heartfelt words of your speeches, all tied together in a narrative you’ll treasure forever.
Full Ceremony Film: From your entrance, to the first kiss, and your first walk up the aisle as a married couple, captured with professional audio.
Full Speeches Film: Honest, emotional, and often hilarious — a complete record of the words that mean the most.
Drone footage is also included where possible (weather and permissions permitting), adding a sweeping perspective to the story of your day.
