Guardswell Farm Wedding Video
There’s something about Guardswell Farm that just puts people at ease.
Set in the Perthshire countryside, it feels relaxed, open, and quietly special — the kind of place where a wedding day flows naturally, without needing to be over-directed or over-styled. It’s exactly the sort of venue I love filming.
A Wedding Day That Feels Effortless
One of the things I notice straight away when filming a Guardswell Farm wedding is how calm the mornings feel. Couples can spread out, settle in, and enjoy getting ready with the people closest to them.
At Jennifer & Jeremy’s wedding, preparations took place in the farmhouse and the Pendicle, with incredible views stretching out across the countryside. There was a real sense of anticipation, but no rush — just laughter, quiet moments, and time to take it all in.
Ceremonies Full of Light and Connection
Ceremonies at Guardswell Farm often take place in the Granary, a beautiful, light-filled space that feels intimate without being enclosed. It’s ideal for relaxed, personal ceremonies — the kind where people feel comfortable being themselves.
Jennifer & Jeremy’s ceremony was exactly that. Surrounded by friends and family, they exchanged vows before spilling back out into the sunshine for confetti on the lawn, drinks, and plenty of hugs.
Drinks, Meadows, and Letting the Day Unfold
One of the joys of filming here is how much space there is to breathe. After the ceremony, guests naturally drift outside for drinks and canapés, wandering the lawns and meadows, chatting, laughing, and enjoying the views.
As a wedding videographer, these are the moments I’m always drawn to — unforced, in-between moments that say far more than anything posed ever could.
Speeches, Limoncello, and a Packed Dance Floor
As the day moved into the evening, heartfelt speeches (and more than a little limoncello) brought everyone together before the celebrations really kicked off. Guardswell Farm has a wonderful way of shifting gears as night falls — suddenly the energy lifts, the music starts, and the dance floor fills.
Jennifer & Jeremy’s evening ended exactly how it should: full of laughter, movement, and the kind of atmosphere people talk about long after the wedding is over.

Guardswell Farm is one of those venues that suits a natural, story-led wedding video perfectly. It’s not about big set pieces or staged moments — it’s about people, connection, and letting the day unfold as it happens.
