Some wedding days just have a lovely rhythm to them — and Katy & Ali’s day at The Lodge on Loch Lomond was exactly that.
It began with the quiet excitement of the morning. Preparations at the Lodge felt relaxed and full of anticipation before everyone made their way to Luss Parish Church for the ceremony. There’s something about Luss that always feels timeless, and their ceremony was heartfelt, warm, and full of meaning.
From Church to Water
After vows were exchanged, the celebrations didn’t pause — they shifted straight onto the water. Guests joined Katy & Ali for a boat ride around Loch Lomond, taking in the scenery and enjoying a moment that felt both joyful and completely unique to them.
It’s not every day a wedding celebration moves onto the loch itself, and filming this part of their Loch Lomond wedding video was something special. The light, the laughter, and the movement across the water gave the day a real sense of freedom.
Back to the Lodge
Back at The Lodge on Loch Lomond, drinks and canapés flowed out onto the terrace. Guests mingled, stories were shared, and the energy gently built before everyone moved inside for dinner and speeches.
As the evening unfolded, the atmosphere shifted again — from relaxed celebration to a dance floor full of life. And just like the rest of the day, the dancing felt natural and unforced. Joyful without being over the top. Exactly as it should be.
A Loch Lomond Wedding to Remember
From start to finish, Katy & Ali’s Lodge on Loch Lomond wedding was a perfect balance of intimacy and celebration, set against one of the most iconic backdrops in Scotland.
It was a real privilege to capture their wedding highlights — a film that reflects not just the scenery, but the atmosphere, connection, and personality of the day.
